RECIPE PREPARATION Puff pastry with apple, walnut and honey:

Divide the puff pastry sheet into equal rectangles.

With the finger soaked in water we make a frame so that we can glue another sheet, on top. After gluing the sheet on top, gently squeeze the edges with a fork or fingers.

We cut the stuffed pillow in 3 places and put it in a hot oven until it gets a golden color.


As soon as we take them out of the oven, we pour honey and sprinkle the walnuts.

They are delicious, all the ingredients combine, it is a harmony of taste.

METHOD OF PREPARATION

1. Prepare the puff pastry dough: mix 200 g of sifted flour with water, using a whisk. Add soft butter (at room temperature) and salt. Knead a homogeneous dough.

2. Divide the dough into 3 equal portions. Sprinkle the work surface with flour and spread a portion of dough in a worktop (approximately 27 x 26 cm). During baking, its dimensions will decrease slightly. Place the worktop on a damp baking tray with the help of a blender.

3. Insert the worktop several times with a fork and bake in the preheated oven at 220 ° C until golden brown. The baking tray is very fragile, so move it carefully. Do the same with the other 2 portions of dough.

4. Prepare the dough with honey: beat the eggs with the sugar. Add honey, baking soda and soft butter (at room temperature). Stir.

5. Put the obtained mixture in the steam bath and heat it. Stir continuously until you get a homogeneous and smooth mass.

6. Remove the mixture from the heat and add the sifted flour. Knead the dough. Get a smooth and slightly sticky dough. Cover with cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

7. Divide the dough into 4 parts. Spread a portion of dough in a worktop (approximately 25 x 24 cm). During baking, its dimensions will remain the same.

8. Using a blender, place the countertop on a dry baking tray (paper-lined). Bake in the preheated oven at 200 ° C until golden brown. Do the same with the other 3 portions of dough.

9. In a bowl, pour the boiled condensed milk and add the soft butter (at room temperature), cut into pieces. Mix with the mixer until you get a homogeneous cream.

10. Prepare the boiled cream: in a saucepan mix the milk with the eggs, flour and sugar. Mix well with a whisk. Put the pan on the fire and simmer the cream over low heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens. Let it cool.

11. Mix the boiled cream with the condensed milk cream and butter. If you get a much too sweet cream, add another 100-150 g of cream.

12. Assemble the cake: arrange a tray of honey on the plate. Grease it with cream and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
