I'm not a big fruit eater but I love grapes.
And because we have grapes in the yard, wasn't it a shame not to put a few jars of compote for the winter, especially since the procedure is a very easy one?
- grape berries (I used white grapes)
- vanilla sugar-1 sachet to a jar of 800 ml.water
Preparation time: less than 30 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION White grape compote:
We remove the grapes from the bunches and wash them.
Place the berries in the jar. (If we want to have more compote we put grapes in the middle of the jar or we can fill the jar with grapes if we want to have more fruit).
Add sugar, vanilla sugar and then water (up to the neck of the jar).
We place the jars in a bowl on the bottom of which I put some kitchen towels.
Add water to the pot up to the neck of the jars and bring to a boil over medium heat. From the moment the water started to boil, leave it on the fire for 20 minutes.
Remove the pan from the heat and leave to cool in the water in which they boiled.
Easy, what do you say?
it is preferable to use grapes of the same color, the varieties do not matter
I used 1 level spoon in an 800 ml jar and this for two reasons ..... the grapes were very sweet and on top of that I prefer the sweetness of the grapes than the sugar
