The milk is divided in two. The first half liter is boiled.

Separate the egg yolks from the 5 eggs. Rub the yolks well with the 9 tablespoons of sugar until the sugar melts, then add the two sachets of vanilla sugar and grated lemon peel.

Put the other half liter of milk in a bowl and gradually incorporate the flour and the pudding envelope, taking care not to form lumps, then pour it over the yolks rubbed with sugar.

When the milk on the fire starts to boil, gradually pour the above mixture and stir continuously until it thickens.

After it has thickened, remove the pan from the heat and in the meantime beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt and then incorporate into the cream, stirring from the bottom up.

Put the first sheet and spread the cream evenly over its entire surface. The second sheet is finely crushed and sprinkled over the cream.
