Rice pilaf with turkey meat


I was indebted to the turkey rice pilaf recipe. I used to do the classic pilaf, but this version seemed better to me and it seems that I do it more and more often.

Put the meat to boil in about 2 liters of water.
Add a little salt and simmer with a lid. When the meat is cooked, take it out and put it in a heat-resistant dish. Fry the rice for 1 minute in a little oil, then put it over the meat (I cut the liver and the pipette into smaller pieces). Add 3 cups of soup in which the meat was boiled. If it is not enough, fill it with water.
Put the dish in the oven over low heat. Leave for 15 minutes, stirring lightly.
Serve with salad or pickles.

Bulgarian pilaf

Bulgarian pilaf, or Serbian pilaf is a old recipe, de rice with vegetables of all kinds, with or without meat. The name comes from the famous Bulgarian or Serbian gardeners (samsari), who roamed the slums and sold, in the early hours of the morning, fresh vegetables of all kinds. It is a vintage recipe, over 100 years old, I found it in an almanac from 1942.

You can put more vegetables (onions, bell peppers and hot peppers, zucchini, carrots, peas, eggplant, celery, green beans), you can make with or without tomatoes. It can be made with fasting or with lard (it's wonderful with poultry lard) or with organs, poultry, beef, lamb & hellip

How to make Bulgarian Pilaf recipe:

The rice is washed in several waters, until the water remains clear. Long grain rice is used, such as Arborio.

Cut the vegetables into cubes and put them in a pan or tray, which can be put in the oven. Add the oil or lard / butter (I used 1 tablespoon of butter and 2 tablespoons of olive oil), the washed and drained rice, press, salt and pepper. Do not fry the vegetables in fat, because the pilaf will no longer be white, but will take on a much darker color. However, you can heat the rice until it becomes translucent, then add the vegetables and water. I avoid frying as much as possible.

Today we will make the simplest and fastest recipe for rice pilaf with grilled chicken breast.

INGREDIENT:

METHOD OF PREPARATION:
For the sauce we need onions, tomatoes and peppers. We wash them, clean them and finely chop them, then put them in the pan on the fire, until the sauce decreases and thickens. To be dietetic, the sauce is made without oil.


If you do not have a garden, it is good to have a pot of basil or other aromatic plants in the house and with beneficial properties for health, in order to be able to flavor any food.


We prepare the chicken breast, but we will put it on the grill at the end, so that it is warm. We only salt it if the regime allows us.
Wash 2-3 tablespoons of rice well, so that it does not stick.


We boil the rice with a cup of soup if we have it, or even water.
When it has boiled, it is soft and the juice has dropped completely, we adjust the salt & # 8211 if the regime allows us.


Fill a cup or bowl of the right size well with rice.
The rice should be soft and fluffy, but without juice.
Cover the rice cup with a plate so you can turn it over.
We turn the plate, take out the cup and we will have the most beautiful and simple presentation of delicious pilaf.


We put the chicken breast on the grill for 2-3 minutes on each side. Do not keep long, do not dry.
Sprinkle the pilaf in abundance with tomato and pepper sauce.
Sprinkle parsley or chopped greens on top to taste.
Garnish with a basil leaf, for appearance, but also for the inviting aroma.
In less than 30 minutes we serve the tastiest grilled pilaf with chicken breast, made with the simplest recipe, fast and dietary.
